Cancelling and refunds

Your 14-day right to cancel
UK consumer law gives you 14 days from buying a plan to cancel it for a full refund. Because Sail Academy is digital content, that right ends once the course starts being supplied to you, but only if you asked for access to start straight away and agreed that you'd lose the right. You do that by ticking the box on our pricing page before you pay, and we confirm it in your welcome email.
- Bought a plan but haven't opened any paid lesson, film, game or full mock exam yet? Email us within 14 days for a full refund.
- Started using the course? The 14-day right has ended, but you can still cancel future payments at any time (below).
Cancelling future payments
Cancel from your account page at any time ("Manage or cancel plan"). You won't be charged again, and the course stays open until the end of the month or year you've already paid for. There's no refund for the rest of a period you've started.
When we refund anyway
- If the course was unavailable for a substantial part of your period, or a substantial part of what you paid for was removed.
- If you were charged by mistake, for example a renewal after you cancelled.
- If something is faulty and we can't fix it in a reasonable time. Your statutory rights for faulty digital content are not affected.
To ask for a refund, email help@sailacademyonline.com from the address on your account. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 days.
